First aid course

At JAME A/S are one of the first in N.Y. to offer a unique, combined first aid course that combines theory and practical application in an innovative and effective first aid course. 

Our goal with this new first aid course is to raise the standard for life-saving first aid in Denmark, and thus increase the chances of saving lives. 

The course contains: 

  • The 4 main points of first aid.
  • Life-saving first aid for the unconscious
  • Resuscitation
  • Resuscitation of children
  • How to handle blocked airways
  • Orientation and use of defibrillators
  • Management of general life-threatening conditions in adults and children
  • How to handle burns
  • Dealing with schock, including bleeding

 
Instructor: Peter Eriksen

I have taught as an approved instructor in first aid since 2010 and have since 2014 run a company focusing on the delivery of professional defibrillators and high quality first aid courses across most of Denmark. 

In addition, I am a first aider / Samaritan at events, such as concerts or sporting events. I also use my military background in my courses.
